About FitOT

LAUREN GRABOWSKI, MS, OTR/L

From the moment I was introduced to occupational therapy, it was the career I knew I wanted to pursue. I was ten years old, so it was that or a professional dolphin trainer or dancer.

Occupational therapy ended up being the path I chose, earning a Bachelor of Health Science in 2013 and continuing on to earn a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2014 from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Occupational Therapy is My Calling

My passion lies with utilizing a holistic and diverse team-based approach while working with children with autism, sensory processing disorders, movement-based difficulties, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges and their families.

My Brand Values

  • Creativity

Whether it’s creating activities for practitioners, developing treatment sessions, or problem-solving with caregivers, it is imperative to be creative in reaching an objective or goal in a fun, loving, and open way.

  • Flexibility

We value the humanness in everyone. From scheduling to reaching treatment goals, we understand and lovingly welcome the ebbs and flows of development and life. We meet kids, families, and practitioners where they are, and grow and restructure from there.

  • Presence

The key to nervous system regulation, development, and change is connection and presence. We value showing up, being present, and actively listening to what others need.

  • Passion

People, especially kids, can feel when someone isn’t “in it”. We lead with heartfelt passion to unlock joy and laughter while achieving and reaching goals.
