Pumpkins, Prep, and Patreon: New Fall Occupational Therapy Templates for Kids to Grow Their Skills

Happy Fall!

It makes my soul truly happy to look around and see pumpkins, wrap myself in a cozy sweatshirt, feel the holiday excitement building, and notice the tiny relief of horrible humidity in Florida. But really, I absolutely love this time of year - especially this year!

I’m FIIINALLLY relaunching my Patreon! When I started making products, my whole goal was to make treatment planning so much easier for every practitioner. We definitely have a lot on our plate, so easy, fun, and functional activities are back! 👏

Each month, there will be an activity bundle release with multiple templates in one post - making it simple to find exactly what you’re looking for!

This month, there are EIGHT fall and Halloween themed occupational therapy templates to download. From pre-writing strokes, skill-building crafts, and fun kid-friendly word searches, there’s a great variety.

This month’s occupational therapy template bundle includes:

  1. Apple Picking: Focuses on 1-to-1 counting, midline crossing, and diagonal practice! It comes with  a vertical and horizontal option so you can target both visual tracking fields. This is great to do at a horizontal anterior surface or supine!

  2. Autumn Crossword Puzzle: An activity I love doing with my older kids! It really help with word generation, positional and relational skills, and letter formation. Great to do mixed into an obstacle course!

  3. Autumn Word Search: Focuses on visual tracking and filtering and discriminating visual information. Another great activity to do supine!

  4. Build A Mummy: Perfect for building scissor skills! Once snipping is mastered, this is a great activity to start compounding cutting strokes with some line awareness! You can work in some coloring and, of course, sequencing too!

  5. Build an Acorn: Similar to the mummy craft, but one level up! You can really add to this craft by incorporating various textures and tools, or even work it into a scavenger hunt! Also, the arms and legs of the acorn are great to work on digit dexterity and motor planning!

  6. Halloween Activity Sheet: A great printable to give your clients during halloween week! They can incorporate many different skills, even if some sessions are missed during this fun week!

  7. Halloween Color & Sort: The perfect multi-step craft that sequences coloring, cutting, visual matching, and gluing. Builds upon spatial relations and visual discrimination skills as well!

  8. Spooky Story: Focusing on sentence and story building in a fun way. Work on idea generation, subject cohesion, and writing (letter formation, line awareness, and more)!

Hope you have a great spooky season with all of your kids!
